If I said that I wanted to be the next Alfonso Cuarón, Angus Wall or Ethan Marcotte that would be saying too much wouldn't it?
I don’t think so.
I believe that it is this need, this want to aspire to be better than my current self that really motivates me to do to the best possible work that I can achieve.
My love of media really started at a young age. When I turned 11 I recieved my very first Sony DVD handycam, which I used to create crazy and weird videos. At the age of 12 I dived into the world of editing; creating Anime Music Videos and uploading them on YouTube (at one point even managing to obtain over 20 thousand views). A year later I turned 13 years old I was introduced into the world of html code.
Now, at 21, I am a Digital Communications student in my fourth year at the University of Guelph-Humber. My interest range within all aspects of digital communications, including video production and post-production, front and back end web design, graphic design, photography and social media.
Through school I have learned the inner workings of programs such as Final Cut Pro X, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and that’s just to name a few. I did not stop there however; I took it upon my own initiative to teach myself programs like Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects and Avid for the simple reason that there is nothing wrong at all, with knowing more.
I am a dedicated, eager and hard working individual who has the ability to learn.
